The Drama Education
Drama is a dynamic practice that introduces students to a world of wonder and play. It encourages them to continue questioning, exploring and teasing out new ideas and ways of living and thinking. Drama is not about being the best performer or the next Hollywood star, it is about creating and making, exploring and responding in the search of our true selves and meaningful connections with others and the world around us.
Our Drama school teaches children how to be active and striving for perfection in their daily lives, but not just passive observers. Creativity, is an acquired behaviour – learnable, teachable, tangible and crucial to human development. Childern will express your creativity in a variety of ways. Performance
… If suddenly a white rabbit, which is wearing a vest, a watch and muttering something out being late, passed you by in a great hurry, wouldn’t you become curious to know where he was going?
In the school year 2016/2017 children are working on the performance on one of the most enchanting stories of all time, which has already turned a century and a half – “Alice in Wonderland”. 150 years ago, the first time the world is simultaneously captivated and puzzled by the story of the little girl Alice, which falls into a rabbit hole and founds herself in the fairy world, peopled with strange creatures like the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire cat, the MarchHare, the white and the Red Queen. In his novel, Lewis Carroll wittily mixed logical and illogical, charmingly plays with words and spaces and masterfully unravels the border between real and unreal.
The performance will be done for professional theatre scene, with profesionlly made scenography, design and costumes.
